Practice group dates and call for papers

The practice group is a chance for you to meet other people (staff, students, community partners) who are involved in, or interested in becoming involved in, SLWC projects - to share ideas, interact, and enthuse each other in relation to this way of working. Sandwiches and tea/coffee will be served, as the practice group runs between 1 and 2pm in DIT northside or southside campuses. Booking is required to ensure we have enough food! Dates are as follows: Tuesday 15th November; Tuesday 7th February; Monday 20th February; Wednesday 7th March.

DIT is a member of the Living Knowledge Network of Science Shops, which supports collaborative research in any discipline between community organizations and students/researchers. The 2012 conference will be in Bonn, Germany, in May, and the call for papers is now open to staff, students, and community partners who would like to share their experiences of collaborative research.
