How the Programme Works
The Programme
The Programme is facilitated by Psychotherapists who work with First, Second and Third Year groups. The programme is delivered by two facilitators in the classroom at any one time which enables much more intensive work with the students as a whole class, and enables immediate one-to-one attention for individuals where needed.
First Year:
All class groups have a weekly, 80-minute ‘therapeutic intervention’ session jointly facilitated by two therapists. All First Year students have individual meetings with a facilitator/therapist. A weekly Counselling Service is available to the students as well as their parents/guardians where needed. Referral comes from teachers, parents and students themselves.
Second Year:
JCSP classes have weekly group sessions.
All other class groups have six workshops throughout the year.
A weekly Counselling Service is available as with First Years.
Third Year:
JCSP classes have weekly group sessions.
All other class groups have three workshops throughout the year.
A weekly Counselling Service is available as with First Years.
