The course is full-time and consists of six core modules (subjects) which include: Applied Writing, Information Technology (Computers), Communications Skills, Study Skills, Introductory Mathematics and Self Development for Learning.
In addition to these six core modules students choose an additional two modules In Semester One and two in Semester Two. These modules are choosen from a menu of subjects which are offered to first year undergraduate students in areas ranging from the Built Environment, Engineering, Science, Tourism and Food, Applied Arts and Business.
