DIT Community Links Programme Wins International Prize!
Tuesday 15 March 2011 Category: DIT Access ServiceThe DIT Community Links Programme is honoured to be selected as one of eight winners of the MacJannet Prize for Global Citizenship. The third-place prize, awarded by the Taillories Network, an international association of third-level institutions committed to championing civic engagement in higher education, is granted on the basis of high achievement across the following six areas: Student Leadership, University Support, Community Partnership and Involvement, Demonstrated Positive Impact on Community, Demonstrated Positive Impact on Participating Students, and Long-Term Sustainability. Congratulations to all students and staff involved in the Community Links Programme for earning this prestigious and notable designation. Well done!
