Can I participate in a school activity listed on these pages if I don’t go to a link school?

No.

Can I only do a course in DIT if I apply to college through the HEAR?

No, the Higher Education Access Route is a collaborate scheme aoffere in conjuction with DIT, DCU, UCC, UCD, NUIM, TCD and UL.  You can list any course at any of these institutions on your CAO form.

How much will points be reduced by if I apply through the HEAR scheme?

The truth is, we don’t know.  It varies considerably from course-to-course and from year-to-year.  Many factors are involved in determining the decduction.
