IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
The Aungier Street and Bolton Street Students’ Service Centres are open daily, providing the following services:
· Issuing ID cards
· Stamping of forms
· Letters confirming registrations and fees paid
· Payments/ Fees/Grants
· General registrations queries
Opening hours are Monday – Thursday: 9am to 5pm and Friday: 9am to 4 pm.
You will find the Students’ Service Centre in Aungier Street in Room G-044 (Ground Floor) and in Bolton Street in Room 319 (Level 3).
Apply for your Student Grant!
All new DIT Students are advised to apply to their local Vocational Education Committee (VEC) offices for their Student Grant for the 2011/12 academic year BEFORE 31 August 2011. Failure to submit an application on time may have significant fees implications for new students! Visit www.studentfinance.ie for all the details!
Assistance Fund Forms
To access forms needed for ALL Assistance Funding (eg. Student Assistance Fund, Rent Assistance Fund, Childcare Fund, Emergency Fund, etc...) available at DIT please click here:

Access Student Assistance Fund (SAF) Form click here.
Student Assistance Fund for 2011/12 is now expended.
Only completed SAF forms will be considered for this scheme. Completed forms have 3 parts, 1) fill in the application form, 2) Fill in the Bank Mandate form and get it stamped by the bank and 3) Your VEC or local Authority Grant letter, if you do not have this, you will need to provide the Access Office with your parents financial documentation.
Any money received from the SAF fund must be receipted for, generally food and travel receipts. Failure to provide receipts will deem you ineligible for SAF in future academic years.

Maths Centre
DIT Students' Maths Learning Centre (SMLC) is an initiative that provides additional mathematical support to DIT students from all Colleges. First year students are especially welcome!
The service is Free-of-charge and open to students of all levels and abilities whose programme contains some mathematical element.
No appointment is necessary for attending the drop-in sessions. Please bring lecture notes, tutorial sheets and past exam papers (if any) with you.
Every student also has access to the online support service through WebCourses or the SMLC website.
