DIT Orientation Programme a Great Success!

The DIT Access Service Orientation Programme, which took place from Monday 7 September -- Friday 11 September in DIT Bolton Street, was a great success. The Access Service welcomed over 130 new first year students on courses in all six faculties in DIT. The new students were treated to a week of information and fun, including a fun jamboree in Grangegorman, a treasure hunt around Dublin, and a reception for family and friends. The students worked in groups all week to produce presentations which they delivered on the Friday, to great acclaim. Overall, the Programme served as a fantastic introduction to DIT for new Access students. The Access Service wishes to thank the many individuals and offices within DIT which helped make this week possible. Congratulations to all new students and best of luck as you start college!
