Support for You
We are with you step by step!
The seven programmes which make up the Community Links Programme work with people from the moment they begin school right through school and into third level college. The programmes also work with parents of children and with adults who would like to go to college for the first time. Our job is to provide the support individuals need to succeed in education.
Our programmes not only encourage people from particular communities to develop their educational potential but also encourage students at DIT to work and learn in communities, building a strong two way relationship between DIT and the communities of which it is a part.
We are also work in the Chernobyl affected areas of southern Belarus in a project which works with over 300 physically and/or mentally disabled people. We provide computer facilities and training for trainers programme in this region as well as supporting the development of a transitional housing programme.
